Job summary

Riverview Modern Dentistry is seeking a Healthcare Coordinator to partner with supported Dentists, help patients understand treatment options, and secure timely financial commitments to start the recommended care with urgency.

You will gain proficiency in the PDS system and tools, educate patients on choices, overcome objections, obtain pre-authorizations, and support the office in keeping schedules productive while delivering a Perfect Patient Experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Travel between offices may be required.

Responsibilities

• Models company culture, values, standards and practices.
• Gain a financial commitment from patients to start prescribed dentistry.
• Achieve proficiency in the HC's tools and assist patients in decisions.
• Execute HC Handoff with clinicians on every exam.
• Become Subject Matter Expert on financial options for patients.
• Overcome objections to starting treatment.
• Obtain insurance pre-authorizations when needed.
• Ensure the office reflects the Comprehensive Care Model.
• Participate in daily huddles and team meetings.
• Understand business imperatives and impact on metrics.
• Uphold PDS Brand framework in decisions.
• Learn about Mouth Body Connection and patient care.
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
