Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant for Certus Dental Care. The role supports dentists with four‑handed dentistry, manages patient history reviews, and performs X-rays using iTero and digital photography. You will help maintain safe treatment rooms and uphold OSHA/CDC guidelines.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of dental assisting experience, strong communication, and HIPAA compliance. There are opportunities for growth and professional development within a national network.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and ensure comfort and provide education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history for quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures per state law.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
