Heartland Dental's Neshannock Dental office is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists with four-handed dentistry, take x-rays, and help patients feel at ease. You’ll gain exposure to iTero 3D scanning, Dentrix scheduling, and a collaborative team in a fast-paced, patient-first environment.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state law.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must protect PHI and comply with HIPAA training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and provide patient education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to support quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during a wide range of procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols per OSHA & CDC guidelines.
• Manage supply and inventory levels; place and expedite orders.
• Collaborate with providers and the Heartland Dental team to optimize office workflows.
