Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join Dental Care at Leland Town Center. You’ll greet patients, assist dentists with procedures, take x-rays, and support everyday office workflows using Dentrix.

This role emphasizes patient comfort, education, and safety in a fast paced team environment. Qualified candidates will have dental assistant (and x-ray) certification as required, strong communication and organizational skills, and HIPAA awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and educate patients throughout treatment.
• Review health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments.
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records management.
• Prepare treatment rooms with safety protocols.
• Manage supplies and place orders.
• Collaborate to maximize office workflow.
