Job summary

Heartland Dental, in partnership with Affordable Dentistry Today, is seeking a Dental Assistant to join a supportive team. You’ll assist dentists with a range of procedures, perform x-rays, and help with patient education using iTero 3D scanners and Dentrix for scheduling.

Open to new grads, you’ll be part of a clinical team that values quality care, compliance with HIPAA, and ongoing learning. Training is provided to help you grow professionally in a fast-paced practice.

Qualifications

• Must have dental knowledge and patient care experience.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-focused settings is a plus.
• Certification for dental assisting and x-ray should be current.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and ensure comfort and education throughout treatment.
• Review health history to support quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
• Manage supplies and place orders; support office workflow.
