Job summary

Heartland Dental LLC's Dental Care of Rolesville is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join the team. You will greet patients, support dentists with chairside assistance, and handle x-ray imaging using iTero 3D technology and digital photography.

Dentrix will be used for scheduling and records, with strict adherence to safety protocols. The role emphasizes patient-first care, ongoing education, and a supportive environment within Heartland Dental’s network.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
• Experience in fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state law.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) during procedures per state practice act.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room maintaining safety protocols per OSHA & CDC guidance.
• Manage supplies and place/expedite orders; support Heartland Dental systems to optimize workflow.
