Job summary

Junction Dental Care, part of Heartland Dental, is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. You will greet patients, document health histories, and support clinicians with four-handed dentistry in a busy practice.

You’ll take x-rays, operate iTero and digital imaging tools, maintain the cleanliness and sterility of treatment rooms, manage supplies in partnership with the office team, and keep accurate records in Dentrix. Strong communication and HIPAA compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
• HIPAA training/compliance required.
• Certification and/or x-ray certification required by state.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate throughout treatment.
• Conduct a thorough review of the patient’s health history to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms with OSHA/CDC safety protocols and manage supplies.
