Job summary

Ideal Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team in North Carolina. You will support a wide range of procedures, operate iTero scanners, take X-rays, and help manage patient flow and charting.

A licensed RDA with CPR certification and 6–12 months of experience is required; travel to new acquired offices may be needed. You’ll work in a fast-growing, clinician-led practice committed to patient-centered care and using cutting-edge technology.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Assistant License.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience as an RDA in a dental practice.
• DeNovo Offices: New acquired offices may require travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a wide range of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and smooth workflow.
• Take dental x-rays with precision to support diagnoses and planning.
• Prepare and break down operatories after procedures, maintaining cleanliness and efficiency.
• Manage patient flow by coordinating handoffs and transitions during visits.
• Ensure infection control standards by sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices to promote long-term health.
• Take accurate impressions and bite registrations for custom appliances.
• Conduct digital iTero scans for diagnostic data.
• Assist with patient charting and documentation for treatment planning.
• Collaborate with the practice team to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
