Job summary

Heartland Dental LLC is seeking a Dental Assistant for Dental Care of Riverbend in Colorado to support patient care from welcome to post-treatment, including taking histories, x-rays, and chairside assistance.

You will operate Dentrix, maintain sterile rooms, follow OSHA/CDC guidelines, and work with the team to optimize office workflow while delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.
• Certificate in dental assisting and/or x-ray as required by state practice acts.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients at the start of their dental journey and educate them as needed.
• Review health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) during procedures under the dentists’ supervision.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
• Manage supplies and place orders to support office workflow.
• Collaborate with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems.
