Job summary

Heartland Dental's South Bend Family Dental Care is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians with four-handed dentistry, take and process X-rays, and prepare treatment rooms while upholding safety protocols.

You'll use Dentrix for scheduling and records, assist with patient education, manage supplies, and participate in ongoing training to provide exceptional patient experiences at a busy Indiana practice.

Qualifications

• Indiana Radiology License required or eligible.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric settings.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and support comfort throughout treatment.
• Take and process X-rays and diagnostic images.
• Provide chairside assistance during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records management.
• Prepare treatment rooms following OSHA guidelines.
• Monitor supplies and place/expedite orders.
