Job summary

Heartland Dental LLC is seeking a capable Dental Assistant for Dental Care of Westminster. You will greet patients, review health histories, and prepare the treatment area while supporting dentists with four-handed chairside assistance. You will manage scheduling in Dentrix and maintain safety protocols throughout daily operations.

The role emphasizes patient education, accurate record keeping, and teamwork within a modern, collaborative office environment.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state law.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, and sustain patient comfort and education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room with safety protocols per OSHA & CDC recommendations.
• Manage supply and inventory levels and place/expedite orders as needed.
• Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize workflow.
