Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant for Dental Care at Village Commons. You will greet patients, assist dentists with procedures, and manage room setup and safety protocols.

Proficiency with Dentrix and x-ray certification are valued as part of a fast-paced patient-centered environment. Training and education opportunities are provided, with a focus on growth within a secure organization boasting 20+ years in the industry.

Qualifications

• Proficient in dental terminology and procedures.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and ensure comfort and education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history for quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures (four-handed dentistry).
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room following safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
• Manage supplies/inventory and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems.
