Job summary

CHOICE Healthcare Services is seeking a Dental Assistant in Tucson, AZ to support dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials. The role includes passing instruments and materials, taking x-rays, IOs, and assisting in prophylaxis cleaning, while teaching patients proper oral hygiene.

The ideal candidate will have dental college certification or 3–6 months of related experience, and Spanish bilingual ability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification from a dental college OR 3–6 months related experience and/or training, preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred

Dental Assistant

Summary:The Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Arizona dental standards.

Education and/or Experience:

• Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred

Required Certificates or Licenses:

• Arizona X-Ray certification
• Current BLS certification
• Arizona Coronal Polish certification

Preferred Certifications:

• Arizona Sealant certification
