Ideal Dental in San Antonio, Texas is hiring a Dental Assistant to support a fast-growing, clinician-led practice. You will assist with a wide range of procedures, take x-rays, perform iTero scans, prepare rooms, manage patient flow, and educate patients on oral hygiene while maintaining strict infection control standards.

The role requires an active RDA license, current CPR certification, and 6–12 months of RDA experience, with potential travel to new DeNovo offices.

Qualifications

• Active RDA license required.
• Current CPR certification.
• 6–12 months experience as an RDA in a dental practice.
• DeNovo offices travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a wide range of dental procedures.
• Take dental x-rays with precision.
• Prepare and break down operatories after each procedure.
• Manage patient flow by facilitating smooth handoffs.
• Ensure infection control standards and sterilize instruments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices.
• Take impressions and bite registrations for appliances.
• Conduct digital iTero scans for diagnostics.
• Assist with patient charting and documentation.
• Collaborate with the practice team to deliver great patient experiences.
