Job summary

Ideal Dental is seeking a Lead Dental Assistant to join a fast-growing, clinician-led practice. You will assist with a wide range of dental procedures, take precise X-rays, and help maintain a smooth patient flow. You will be trained with state-of-the-art tools and play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care.

You must hold an active RDA license and CPR certification, with at least 2 years of RDA experience. Some travel to new acquired offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Active RDA license and CPR certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RDA in a dental practice.
• DeNovo Offices: travel to new acquired offices may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a wide range of dental procedures and ensure patient comfort.
• Take dental X-rays with precision to support diagnoses and planning.
• Prepare and break down operatories; maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Manage patient flow and assist in transitions during visits.
• Ensure infection control; sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene to promote long-term health.
• Take impressions and bite registrations for custom appliances.
• Conduct digital iTero scans for accurate diagnostics.
• Assist with charting and documentation to support treatment planning.
• Collaborate with the team to provide exceptional patient experiences.
