Job summary

Ideal Dental is hiring a Dental Assistant in Texas to support a fast-growing dental group. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional care, taking X-rays, preparing operatories, and maintaining infection control across the patient journey.

You’ll use iTero technology, assist dentists with procedures, educate patients, and help manage patient flow. A current RDA license and CPR certification are required, with travel to new acquired offices possible.

Qualifications

• Active RDA license required.
• Current CPR certification.
• 6–12 months of experience as an RDA in a dental practice.
• DeNovo Offices: travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a wide range of dental procedures and keep patients comfortable.
• Take dental x-rays with precision to support diagnoses and treatment planning.
• Prepare and break down operatories after procedures, maintaining cleanliness.
• Manage patient flow and assist in transitions during visits.
• Ensure infection control standards and sterilize instruments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-visit care.
• Take impressions and bite registrations for appliances.
• Conduct digital iTero scans and document findings.
• Support charting and treatment records for doctors.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver excellent patient experiences.
