Job summary

Ideal Dental is hiring a Dental Assistant to join a clinician-led team in Plano, TX. You will assist with a wide range of procedures, take X‑rays, manage patient flow, and help maintain a clean, efficient operatory. You’ll be trained on iTero scans and supported in patient education and documentation.

Applicants should hold an active RDA license with CPR certification and have 6 months to 1 year of RDA experience. Travel to new DeNovo offices may be required as the group expands.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Assistant License.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience as an RDA in a dental practice.
• DeNovo Offices: travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a wide range of dental procedures and ensure patient comfort.
• Take dental X-rays with precision for diagnoses and treatment planning.
• Prepare and breakdown operatories after each procedure; maintain cleanliness.
• Manage patient flow and assist in transitions during visits.
• Ensure infection control standards; sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene for long-term health.
• Take impressions and bite registrations for appliances.
• Conduct digital iTero scans for accurate data.
• Assist with patient charting and documentation for doctors.
