Job summary

North Creek Village Dental, part of the Heartland Dental network, is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. You will greet patients, review health history, take x-rays, and provide chairside support with a focus on patient comfort and safety.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation using Dentrix, adherence to OSHA/CDC guidelines, and collaboration with the dental team to maintain smooth clinical workflows.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification if required by state.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
