Job summary

Badger Hills Dental Care is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team and support patient care from welcome to treatment completion.

You’ll greet patients, review health histories, take x-rays, assist dentists with procedures, and use Dentrix for scheduling while maintaining safety and PHI protection.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.
• Certification as a dental assistant and/or x-ray certification as required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA awareness and PHI safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, and educate them during treatment.
• Review the patient health history to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments.
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms with safety protocols per OSHA & CDC guidance.
• Manage supply and inventory levels and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
