Dental Care at North Creek is seeking a Hygiene Assistant to join our team. This is an ideal entry role with little to no dental experience, offering on‑the‑job training, extensive hands‑on experience, and development opportunities within a supportive organization.

As a Hygiene Assistant, you will greet patients, review health histories, assist hygienists, set up rooms, and use Dentrix for scheduling and records, while upholding safety protocols and HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• On the job training available and state requirements may require additional certification.
• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced customer-focused environment.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and support patient comfort throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Assist hygienists during procedures in accordance with state practice acts.
• Set up and restock treatment rooms and instruments.
• Use Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
• Maintain safety protocols following OSHA and CDC guidelines.
• Collaborate with providers to maximize office workflow.
