Core Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from rooms.
• Record treatment notes in patient charts.
• Perform clinical procedures as permitted and directed by the dentist.
• Provide patient instructions and demonstrations.
• Monitor patient flow.
• Maintain dental units and organize tools and treatment rooms.
• Sterilize instruments according to protocol.
• Prepare patient charts and radiographs for upcoming appointments.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic life support certification
• Current Delaware X-ray certification
• Graduation from an accredited dental assisting program or relevant experience
