We are seeking a Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions who combines clinical precision, human warmth, and a high level of organization. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth flow of clinical operations and providing a positive and safe experience for our patients from the very first moment.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm / Alternating Saturdays

Full-Time Regular Position | $13.00/hour + Monthly Production Bonus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and disinfect instruments and workstations following infection control protocols.
  • Assist the dentist during clinical procedures by handing instruments, suctioning, and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Take dental X-rays and impressions as needed.
  • Accurately document patient medical and dental information.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Support administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups.

  • Attention to detail: Precision in instrument preparation and recordkeeping.
  • Organization: Ability to multitask and maintain a clean, orderly workspace.
  • Effective communication: Clear, empathetic interaction with patients, colleagues, and doctors.
  • Time management: Punctual and efficient to keep appointments and procedures on schedule.
  • Interpersonal skills: Friendly, professional demeanor with a focus on patient well-being.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to maintain service flow.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure and adjust to changes in patient flow or treatment needs.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant in private practices or dental centers.
  • Experience assisting with prophylaxis, restorations, extractions, and other common procedures.
  • Familiarity with dental instruments, materials, and sterilization techniques.
  • Preferred: Experience using dental software and electronic health records (EHR).
