CHOICE Healthcare Services in North Las Vegas, NV seeks a Dental Assistant - Ortho - Part Time to support care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with Nevada standards.

The role includes taking X-rays and IOs, sterilizing instruments, setting up and breaking down rooms, and charting treatment plans with the doctor.

Qualifications

• Certification or training in dental assisting; experience acceptable

Summary: The Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Nevada dental standards.

  Qualifications

  Education and/or Experience:

  • Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred

  Required Certificates or Licences:

  • X-Ray Nevada certification or affidavit
  • BLS certification
  • 4-hour Infection Control certification
