Job summary

CHOICE Healthcare Services is seeking an Orthodontic Dental Assistant in Santa Fe, NM to support orthodontic care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials, and by assisting the doctor in procedures.

Responsibilities include taking x-rays and IOs, sterilizing instruments, setting up rooms, instructing patients on oral hygiene, and charting treatment plans with the doctor. Certification from a dental college or 3–6 months related experience is preferred.

• Experience working as an Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Summary:The Dental Assistant supports orthodontic care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the New Mexico dental standards.

• Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
• Expereince working as an Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Required Certificates or Licenses:

• X-Ray New Mexico certification with license number
• BLS certification
