A private dental practice in Naperville seeks an energetic and dependable Dental Assistant to join their team. Individuals must have the following attributes:

Individuals must be able to execute the following job duties:
• Take and document patient dental history and updates, as well as overall health and medication history
• Assist dentist by handling supplies and instruments as requested
• Assist hygienists when needed; seat patients, take x-rays, schedule next hygiene appointment
• Prepare trays for dentist with necessary instruments and supplies
• Must be proficient at making temporary crowns, Essix retainers & Whitening Trays
• Clean and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms as needed
• Take high quality digital dental radiographs
• Management of supplies & equipment
• Patient charting and notes as instructed by the dentist
• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room
Qualifications
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or a Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF) preferred
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Radiology certification preferred
• Eaglesoft proficiency preferred
• iTero Trained preferred
• 3+ years of experience as a DA (a must)
• Full Time Position (34 - 40 hours/week)
Mondays: 8 - 7:30
Tuesdays: 8:30 - 5:30
Wednesdays: 7:30 - 5:30
Thursdays: 7:30 - 5:30
Compensation commensurate with experience, qualifications, and performance.
