Red Rose Family Dental is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team.

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll enjoy state-of-the-art technology while being surrounded by camaraderie and support. This role emphasizes patient care, continuous learning, and a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout treatment.
  2. Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
  3. Take and process X-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.).
  4. Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) during procedures in accordance with state dental practice laws.
  5. Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
  6. Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
  7. Manage supplies and inventory, including placing orders.
  8. Collaborate with the team to implement systems and optimize workflow.

Qualifications
  • Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Dental assistant and/or x-ray certification as required by state law.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to protect PHI and complete HIPAA training.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 1 year of dental experience.
  • Experience with Dentrix or similar software.
  • Dental assisting certification.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform duties with or without accommodations.
  • Prolonged sitting and standing.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
  • Availability for periodic training sessions.
  • TB test required prior to employment (except in FL & TN).
