Qualifications

Alsbury Dental is looking for a Dental Assistant in Burleson, Texas to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
  • Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
  • Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including scheduling and intake.
  • Assist in managing dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency supplies, and contact information.
Qualifications:
  • Registered Dental Assistant
  • Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
  • At least 2 years of on-the-job experience (with supporting documentation)
  • X-Ray certification
  • Nitrous Oxide certification (highly recommended)
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Dental Assistants are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
