Outpatient Surgery Center.In Alpharetta, GA and Brookhaven, GA.Exciting and rewarding job available at our Atlanta Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Implant Center.Monday – Friday, often ½ Fridays.Position involves assisting in oral surgery procedures, assisting in their anesthesia care, and recovery as well.You will also utilize intra-oral scanners, assisting in provisional implants, taking radiographs, and assist in pre-op and post-op care.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Dental/Surgical Assistant to support our oral surgeon in the clinical and surgical setting. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and enjoys working closely with both patients and a surgical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and assist during surgery
• Set up and maintain sterile surgical field and instruments
• Assist with IV sedation and monitor patients during procedures
• Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
• Maintain accurate records and patient charts
• Clean and sterilize instruments and surgical areas
• Ensure OSHA and infection control compliance at all times

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1–2 years of dental or surgical assisting experience (oral surgery preferred)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented attitude
• Comfortable working with patients undergoing sedation and surgical procedures
