Dental Assistant

Work Hours

Smiling from Open to Close: Wednesdays 7:45am-5:00pm

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent chair-side clinical support to Doctors and Hygienists, including charting, operatory setup/cleanup, and patient education.
  • Record and review patient health history, make chart entries under the doctor's direction, and ensure completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
  • Review the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
  • Prepare patients, sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, maintain asepsis, prepare materials, and assist dentists during procedures following OSHA guidelines.
  • Expose and develop dental diagnostic radiographs.
  • Follow OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including HIPAA compliance, CPR, X-rays, and other certifications.
Qualifications
  • Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training
  • 1-5 years of experience preferred; new graduates considered
  • Radiography/X-ray certification for respective state
  • CPR Certification required
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients
