Brookdale Senior Living in Vestal, NY seeks a Clare Bridge Program Assistant to aid in implementing person-centered dementia programs and engage residents in meaningful activities. You will help tailor activities to each resident's routines, preferences and history, promoting independence and quality of life.

You will coordinate events, support program staff, and communicate with families and staff to ensure excellent engagement and care within a Brookdale community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; associates degree preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean 3-year driving abstract.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading person-centered dementia-friendly programs for residents.
• Review resident service plans and complete program documentation.
• Coordinate special events, family socials and open houses.
• Communicate with residents and families about needs and successes.
• Support volunteers and ensure quality of life through programming.
