Job summary

S. C. Johnson & Son, Inc. seeks a Senior Analyst, Demand Planning to originate and manage demand forecasts across near-term S&OE and longer-range S&OP horizons. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Planning to translate insights into accurate demand plans.

You will develop forecasts using shipment history, inputs from customers and sales, promotions, distribution trends, and other signals to align supply chain and business planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of demand planning/forecasting experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Demonstrated analytical capability and experience translating data into actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional consensus plans.
• Experience using data analysis to identify root causes and improve KPI performance.
• Ability to analyze evolving information and present business cases for action.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• End-to-end supply chain knowledge and data-informed decision making.

Responsibilities

• Own demand planning and forecasting for multiple categories and horizons.
• Lead collaboration calls with key sales accounts to review performance and forecast assumptions.
• Monitor near-term demand and adjust forecasts for pacing, promotions, and distribution.
• Participate in Steps 1 and 2 of the S&OP process with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct root-cause analysis of forecast errors to identify drivers and actions.
• Support continuous improvement to increase forecast accuracy and planning effectiveness.
