Reporting Line

This position reports to the Service Operations Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Execute service work according to work instructions, ABB quality, and safety guidelines.
2. Deliver quality customer service by planning and executing service work aligned with customer orders and expectations.
3. Communicate effectively with customers regarding service work timelines and expectations to ensure customer retention.
4. Work remotely as per the work model.
5. Contribute to the Process Automation Energy Industries division.
6. Identify opportunities to improve customer operations and eliminate pain points during on-site visits.
7. Perform field service tasks, diagnose technical issues, and analyze problems through remote or on-site activities within certified service categories and products.
8. Prepare material lists and ensure availability and quality of materials, parts, and equipment needed for service activities.
9. Act as a trainer for field service associates and customers when needed.

Qualifications

1. Associate's Degree or equivalent military technical training, with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
2. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, networking, cybersecurity, and ABB Symphony Plus Distributed Control System is a plus. Formal training and mentorship will be provided.
3. Self-motivated, self-directed, and willing to travel overnight up to 80%.
4. Experience in process automation, systems maintenance, configuration, or process control is advantageous but not mandatory.
5. Fluent in English and possess a valid driver's license.
6. Legal work authorization for employment in the US.
