This position reports to: Service Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will execute service work according to work instructions and ABB quality and safety guidelines. You will deliver quality customer service by planning and executing service work based on customer orders and expectations. You will also ensure customer retention through effective communication of service work timelines and expectations.

The work model for this role is remote. It contributes to the Process Automation Energy Industries division.

Main responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with on-site customers to identify opportunities for operational improvements and pain point elimination.
• Performing field service tasks, diagnosing technical issues, and conducting analysis through remote or on-site activities within certified service categories and products.
• Preparing material lists and ensuring the availability and quality of materials, parts, and equipment needed for service activities.
• Training field service associates and customers as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent military technical training with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and accomplishments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, networking, cybersecurity, and ABB Symphony Plus DCS is a plus. Formal training and mentorship will be provided.
• Self-motivated, self-directed, and willing to travel overnight up to 80%.
• Experience in process automation, systems maintenance, configuration, or process control is desirable but not mandatory.
• Fluent English speaker with a valid driver’s license and legal work authorization in the US.
