Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking a Sr. Station Leader to drive safety, quality and performance for a 24/7 delivery station, overseeing budgetary and people development objectives.

You will lead Operations, Area and Shift Managers, mentor talent, implement lean initiatives, measure KPIs, and present results to senior leadership while coordinating with DSPs, IT, Finance and HR to meet the business plan and customer expectations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
7+ years’ direct management experience in logistics or distribution.
Proven track record of delivering performance and financial results.
Experience with performance metrics and lean techniques.
Experience with full lifecycle staffing and development.

Responsibilities

Responsible for safety, quality, performance, customer experience and people development for all delivery station operations.
Drives vision for station team and lean initiatives to meet the business plan.
Problem-solves gaps between performance and goals.
Sets requirements for Ops Managers and measures performance.
Manages relationships with DSPs and operates 24/7.
Presents operational metrics to senior leadership.
Hires and develops top talent and implements a talent plan.
Encourages knowledge sharing and culture across the site.
