Zusammenfassung

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Station Leader for our Sterling Heights, MI delivery station. You will lead a cross-functional team across Operations, Area and Shift Managers, driving safety, quality, performance, and customer satisfaction in a 24/7 environment.

You will coach and mentor teams, manage DSP relationships, and build leadership bench strength while partnering with Finance, HR, IT and other stakeholders to execute on the business plan.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years’ direct management experience in logistics/fulfillment.
• Proven track record of delivering performance and financial results.
• Experience with performance metrics and process improvement and lean techniques.
• Experience with full lifecycle staffing including interviewing, hiring and performance management.
• Strong analytical capability; data-driven problem solving.
• Excellent communication skills in local language and English (written and verbal).
• Experience managing third-party resources regionally/nationally.
• Experience managing contingent workforce during peak seasons.
• Flexible to work varying hours including overnight, weekends and holidays.

Aufgaben

• Oversee safety, quality, performance, customer experience, and people development for all delivery station operations.
• Drive vision for the station team and implement lean initiatives to meet the business plan.
• Identify and close gaps between performance and goals.
• Set expectations for Operations, Area and Shift Managers; measure and coach performance.
• Manage 24/7 delivery operations and relationships with DSPs.
• Present operational metrics to senior leadership on a regular basis.
• Hire and develop talent; create a talent plan including acquisition, performance, and career development.
• Leverage managers to source ideas and build improvement plans for the area.
• Foster a strong culture and engagement across the delivery station team.
• Coordinate with partners to secure resources for projects and initiatives.
