Job summary

Amazon Logistics is seeking a Sr. Station Leader in Kent, WA to own safety, quality, performance and people development for the delivery station, coordinating Operations, Area and Shift Managers and DSP relationships in a 24/7 environment.

You will drive lean initiatives, set expectations, measure performance, hire and develop talent, and partner with Finance, HR and IT to secure resources for key projects while maintaining Amazon's customer standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years’ direct management experience in logistics or related fields.
• Experience with performance metrics and lean techniques.
• Excellent communication skills (English).
• Experience managing third party resources and contingent workforce.
• Willing to work varied hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, quality, performance and people development for DS operations.
• Lead vision and lean initiatives to meet business plans.
• Set expectations for Managers, measure performance and provide feedback.
• Manage relationships with DSPs and partners.
• Present metrics to senior leadership and drive talent plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure resources for initiatives.
