Job summary

Amazon is seeking an RSR Sr. Station Leader in Columbus, GA to oversee all delivery station operations, safety, quality, and people development.

You will drive the station's vision, implement lean initiatives, and ensure the team meets business plans while managing relationships with DSP partners. You will hire and develop top talent, create talent plans, and promote a culture of engagement across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall safety, quality, performance, customer experience and people development for all delivery station operations
• Drives vision for station team and creates quality initiatives, process change initiatives and lean initiatives to meet business plan
• Problem-solves to close gaps between performance and goals
• Sets and clarifies requirements for Operations and Area Managers; measures performance and provides feedback
• Manages 24/7 delivery of Amazon orders to customers, with rising volume and complexity
• Maintains day-to-day relationships with multiple Delivery Service Providers (DSPs)
• Presents operational metrics regularly to senior leadership
• Hires and develops top talent; creates a talent plan including acquisition, performance and career management, learning and development, succession planning
• Leverages staff to source ideas and develop improvement plans for the function
• Cultivates strong culture and engagement across all levels of the delivery station team
• Shares best practices across departments, shifts, and network
• Collaborates with Transport & Sortation, DSP Management, Finance, Loss Prevention, IT, HR, ACES and Engineering to secure support for projects
