Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking an Operations supervisor to oversee the delivery team, ensure safety and compliance with regulations, and lead daily activities.

You will manage schedules, monitor performance, coordinate with safety, sales, and corporate to address delivery issues, and uphold food safety and DOT standards.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, and working knowledge of federal regulations; nontraditional hours may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training.
• 2- or 4-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major preferred.
• Must read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise delivery associates daily work and safety per SOPs and planned routes.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (DOT, OSHA) and accurate electronic logs.
• Manage labor hours and consumables within budget; prepare work schedules and shifts.
• Oversee asset usage and coordinate repairs with proper departments as needed.
• Review delivery functions and productivity reporting; suggest efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate with Safety to conduct training, investigations, and safety inspections.
