Job summary

Boscov's Department Store, LLC is seeking an experienced Delivery Operations Manager to oversee daily office and delivery operations, supporting the Big Ticket Help Desk and coordinating with carriers and customers. This full-time role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving to ensure policy compliance, timely follow-up, and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage Delivery and Help Desk office personnel, providing daily direction, coaching, and performance management.
• Track attendance and staffing needs, and lead weekly staff meetings to review priorities and updates.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new coworkers.
• Communicate policy, procedure, and product changes to delivery carriers accurately and on time.
• Monitor Call Sets and will-call activity in the Big Ticket Warehouse System and assign follow-up to ensure customers are contacted promptly.
• Maintain current carrier insurance certificates and driver contact information, and send renewal reminders prior to expiration.
• Monitor delivery routes and oversee inbound, billing, and help desk functions, reviewing carrier invoices for contract compliance and billing accuracy.
• Resolve customer delivery issues professionally and in alignment with company service standards.
• Meet weekly with the Customer Service Supervisor or Manager to review open issues and coordinate follow-up.
• Coordinate shipment of approved customer-requested items and manage Shop-by-Phone emails through Outlook.
