Job summary

Sysco Indianapolis is seeking an Operations supervisor for Delivery to oversee daily activities of the Delivery team, ensure safety and compliance with DOT/OSHA, and maintain high service quality for customers.

You will schedule shifts, manage labor hours and supplies, coordinate with Sales and Marketing, resolve delivery issues with customers, and enforce company policies across shifts while promoting safety.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• Defensive driving certification; HazMat preferred; Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work and safety of Delivery Associates.
• Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Manages labor hours and consumables within budget.
• Prepares work schedules including extra shifts as needed.
• Oversees asset usage and coordinates repairs with departments.
• Communicates with Sales/Marketing to resolve customer issues.
