Job summary

Sysco in Kansas is seeking an Operations Supervisor for Delivery to oversee daily activities of Delivery Associates, ensure safety, compliance with DOT/OSHA, and adherence to procedures. You will direct staff, manage schedules, and monitor performance.

The role requires 1–3 years related experience, a high school diploma or GED (college degree preferred), and valid certifications or licenses. You will collaborate with Sales and Marketing, and report on productivity while upholding food safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 2- or 4-year college degree in Business Management or Supply Chain preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work and safety of Delivery Associates and ensures compliance with procedures.
• Ensures DOT/OSHA compliance and accurate electronic logs.
• Manages labor hours and supplies within budget and prepares work schedules.
• Oversees asset usage and coordinates repairs with proper departments.
• Monitors productivity, reports, and implements efficiency improvements.
• Interprets and enforces company policies, safety, and record-keeping standards.
• Coordinates with Sales/Marketing to resolve customer or delivery issues.
• Interacts with customers and visits locations to address delivery challenges.
• Maintains regular communication with associates and fosters engagement.
