Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with TMS, GPS and GIS systems and logistics software.
• Strong data analysis to interpret freight movement and fleet performance.
• Excellent communication for high‑volume dispatch environments.
• Proficient data entry and managing multi‑line phone systems.
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and fleet management practices.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast‑paced setting.
• Willingness to learn and advance toward Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch daily drivers using TMS and GPS to optimize routes and schedules.
• Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and 3PL partners.
• Update records in Oracle TO and related systems (SyteLine, AS400).
• Monitor real‑time fleet movements and address delays promptly.
• Communicate clearly with drivers and provide shift instructions.
• Analyze transportation data to find efficiency improvements.
• Ensure safety, regulatory, and company policy compliance.
