The role trains and supports transportation team members and may involve vehicle operation. MVR status and a valid driver’s license are required, with ongoing monitoring.

The position emphasizes coordinating driver routes, performing inspections, and delivering customer orders while maintaining high service standards within the local service area.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering merchandise to customers using box trucks or similar vehicles.
• 3+ years operating material handling equipment.
• Strong driving record with limited accidents and moving violations in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate loading and dispatch of driver routes.
• Oversee pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT and internal policies.
• Plan daily routes and optimize driver schedules.
• Serve as primary contact for driver issues.
• Coach drivers on policies and procedures and report team performance to management.
• Review order manifests to ensure accuracy of orders and routes.
• Deliver orders within service area and provide professional customer service.
