Job summary

Diakon Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Support Representative to support a 5‑day in‑office delivery/installation operation in Virginia. You will coordinate independent contractor carriers, monitor routes, and assist with billing and reporting.

The role requires strong communication, data entry, and customer service skills. The position runs Tuesday through Saturday, 8‑hour shifts between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM. The hourly rate is $18-$20, with DOE and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

Bilingual with Spanish highly preferred.

Excellent computer skills with experience using Excel and MS Office applications.
Data Entry Skills, Thoroughness, Organization, Attention to Detail
Effective communication skills with awareness of relationship building skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Dependable, with a strong focus in customer service and time management.
Bachelors’ Degree and 4-6 years in the logistics/supply chain field preferred.
Able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

Provides administrative support for a 5-day a week delivery and installation operation.
Communicate operational challenges and customer escalations and execute resolutions timely.
Answers a high volume of calls, screens calls, schedules appointments.
Heavy customer service.
Route monitoring and communication with delivery teams to ensure service.
Record daily activity, client billing, contractor settlements.
Assist with compliance and fleet tracking reporting and metrics.
Determine priorities and multi-task.
Maintain historical records by tracking information.
Contribute to team effort by completing related tasks.
