Job summary

Mission Lane LLC is seeking a Senior Delivery Manager, Data & Models to own end-to-end delivery of data and modeling initiatives. You will coordinate across data engineering, data science, credit, risk, and compliance to ship the right work in the right order with built-in governance.

You’ll define the delivery playbook, establish ownership, and drive continuous improvement. This role balances speed with rigor and supports a remote-first, data-driven fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in program or project delivery, preferably in financial services or data-heavy environments.
• Led multiple concurrent initiatives across three or more cross-functional teams, including technical groups.
• Familiar with data and model development lifecycle (engineering, validation, deployment, monitoring).
• Experience with model governance, model risk management, or formal approval processes in regulated settings.
• Proven ability to build delivery structures, processes, or standards that teams adopt.
• Clear, direct written and verbal communication with defined ownership and next steps.
• Ability to calibrate escalation to senior leaders and resolve issues directly.
• Capable of coaching colleagues without formal management authority.
• Willingness to travel ~4+ times per year for in-person collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery roadmap for data and model initiatives across all business units, including milestones and sequencing.
• Maintain a single, current view of every data and model initiative with status, risks, and next steps shared regularly.
• Coordinate across data engineering, data science, credit, risk, and compliance, surfacing dependencies early.
• Develop and maintain the delivery playbook for model development, validation, deployment, and policy updates.
• Drive model governance readiness so reviews and approvals proceed smoothly.
• Advance delivery practices for data work, including pipelines, data products, and quality remediation.
• Serve as the operational point of contact for 2nd line credit and model risk oversight.
• Champion continuous improvement of planning and delivery with retrospectives and data-informed insights.
• Provide informal guidance to newer delivery colleagues as practices mature.
