Job summary

The ODP Group is seeking a Delivery Lead who will direct the delivery team to ensure efficient product transport and customer satisfaction. This role emphasizes hands-on training of Delivery Specialists, route balancing, and adherence to DOT rules, with coordination of safety and quality across the operation.

You will work with systems like RACE, MS Word, and MS Excel, streamlining processes, and promoting Lean practices while maintaining strong organizational standards and professional customer

Qualifications

• HS diploma preferred or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years in related field
• 2+ years delivery experience; supervisory/leadership preferred
• CDL may be required in states where needed
• Valid driver license and clean driving record
• DOT qualification and familiarity with transportation systems
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken)
• Professional representation when delivering to customers

Responsibilities

• Train and coach new and existing Delivery Specialists
• Assist with route design, balancing, and dispatch
• Ensure safety and security, and manage driver safety checks
• Provide input for performance reviews and Continuous Improvement
• Maintain required paperwork and DOT compliance
• Act as back-up driver when needed
• Lead safety meetings and participate in safety committees
• Assist with customer visits and onsite meetings
