Job summary

MY CREDIT UNION is seeking a Member Solutions Specialist at the Lyndale Branch in Minnesota to manage delinquent consumer and real estate loans, as well as delinquent Visa accounts, and to mitigate losses.

You will perform follow-up calls, review documentation, and coordinate with leadership on compromises and settlements, while adhering to regulatory guidelines and internal policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Three to five years’ experience in consumer collection work.
• Credit union experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Contact delinquent members by telephone, email, or letter to determine reasons for delinquency.
• Serve as liaison with outside agency in collection efforts of delinquent accounts.
• Assist members with development of plans to return accounts to current status.
• Notify co-signers of delinquent account status.
• Maintain and log collection activity on all delinquent accounts.
