Responsibilities

• Work within the collection system to contact delinquent debtors when accounts are past due.
• Negotiate terms resulting in delinquency resolution or loss mitigation while maintaining professionalism.
• Document all collection activities accurately in company systems.
• Coordinate collection of delinquent accounts through third-party providers (attorneys, debt settlement, repossession).
• Comply with applicable federal, state, and local debt collection laws where Mariner operates.
• Follow updated collection policies and adapt to changes promptly.
• May perform additional functions based on market demand to provide consistent customer service.
