Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to guide a busy deli team while delivering friendly, high-quality customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

You will help oversee daily operations, manage inventory, ensure food safety standards, train staff, and support the deli manager to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction across our California location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in deli or food service.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Able to manage inventory, ordering, and pricing to maximize productivity.
• Must be 18 years or older and adaptable to flexible schedules.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Deli team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, developing the Deli team.
• Unload deliveries, operate deli equipment, and maintain equipment safety.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and support store operations.
