You will assist in managing labor, inventory, and product quality while mentoring a busy Deli team. This role requires 18+ with 2 years supervisory experience and strong communication skills; a Food Safety certification is preferred. Competitive pay and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have preferred 2 years supervisory experience and strong knowledge of deli or related food service.
• Demonstrate dependable reliability with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Show strong written and verbal communication and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Possess outgoing and friendly behavior with the ability to interact with customers and handle special orders and calls.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality and supervision of the Deli team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising and sales through planning, direction and teamwork.
• Lead a team to deliver high quality products and exceptional customer service.
• Assist in hiring, training and developing the Deli staff.
